Executive Leadership
The LMU EMBA is designed to make you a better leader, equipped with the necessary competencies to face the challenges and lead change in today's dynamic marketplace. Allied to a strong grounding in foundational business knowledge and disciplines is a relentless focus on execution through exposure to real-world situations. We develop your ability to make complex decisions, communicate, and manage relationships in an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes the importance of teamwork and encourages growth – in self-awareness, character, integrity and belief in your own unique talents.
Experienced Faculty
Our EMBA faculty are highly effective educators. Our senior full-time professors are augmented by academically qualified, practicing executives. Through their research and professional experience, our faculty embodies the 450-year Jesuit reputation for academic excellence and teaching.
Invest in Your Professional Growth
An EMBA represents an important investment in your professional and personal growth. It also requires a high level of commitment. Over the course of the program, at least 15 to 20 hours a week is required for a combination of classroom work, computer and research efforts, teamwork and course assignments. To help you manage the many facets of your life, there is a solid support infrastructure deployed, starting with the combined knowledge base of an experienced faculty and program staff. As you progress, you will come to value the team-centric approach of the program and the invaluable support from your peers. In addition, you will be assigned a personal
executive coach who will be available to advise throughout. Indeed many of our students maintain a relationship with their coach after graduation.
Actionable Learning
Our EMBA program exposes you to the latest management concepts and helps translate those ideas into real-world practice. What you learn in the classroom on a Friday and Saturday can be applied to your own businesses' challenges on a Monday. You will develop skills for improving performance within your own organization while gaining a true understanding of your personal capabilities, strengths, values and talents.
International and Domestic Business Travel Experience
Today's increasingly integrated global business environment poses particular challenges for executives on many different levels – cultural, economic and political. Our EMBA addresses these issues through an international component in the form of a visit to one or more major non-US business centers. In 2009, we traveled to China and Russia. The trip focused on the consumer products industry. For a full review of our 2009 international trip,

Between the first and second year, we visit government and/or business centers for one week where you gain first-hand exposure to the forces and personalities that shape policies and decisions.
