Samantha Crawford is the Administrative Manager and Director of Customer Relations at Performing Arts Workshops, an educational program committed to ensuring that all school-aged children are provided the opportunity to experience a quality arts education. In 2019, Samantha co-founded Project LEAD, a start-up that is dedicated to providing children across the country with the tools and resources to find their voices and see themselves as capable of creating change, thereby preparing them to become tomorrow’s leaders.
Prior to her work on the administrative side of education, Samantha was a special education educator active in the classroom working as everything from a para-educator, to a reading clinician, to an intervention specialist, to a lead special education teacher. It is Samantha’s goal to provide children of all backgrounds, geographical locations, educational experiences, and interests with empowering classroom experiences so that they will view themselves as having important voices that need to be heard and the skills to use them.
Samantha was born and raised in South Los Angeles County and received her Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education from Syracuse University in New York.
